
Callista Barritt, then 18, (on left beside her father Jason) at the Bungendore train station in May 2010. She caught the early morning train to Sydney where she boarded a flight to Indonesia for the first leg of her 8 month trip. It took her through Asia, Africa, Europe, Russia and then she joined her mother Judy and the other three children in Colorado for a reunion with their American relatives. She returned in January 2011 to start first year at ANU and continues to work part-time as a receptionist at Braddon Chiropractic Optimal Health Centre.
Larissa, (far right) turns 16 this year and also works as a receptionist twice a week at the centre after school. She has done this for the past 2 1/2 years. Larissa is Vice Captain at her high school.
Galen, turning 13 this year, is enjoying Year 7 and was recently selected for the Southern Junior League Basketball Team. He also works several times a month at the office doing filing and cleaning.
Ellise (in pink) is now in Year 3 and is proud to be receiving lots of homework. She has also painted dozens of beautiful cards that are sent to patients who are not feeling well or as “congratulations” cards when they make specific milestones in their progress.
